Smsf Accountant

**Job description****Role Summary**The SMSF accountant is responsible for undertaking all production accounting activities, including preparation, review and analysis of financial statements and taxation requirements and deliver associated quality, professional accounting outcomes.**Duties and Responsibilities**- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns primarily for self-managed superannuation fund clients.- Liaising with various providers and statutory authorities on behalf of clients- Processing transactions for trustees, benefits transfers, contributions, and benefits payments on behalf of clients- Ensuring jobs are completed effectively by meeting technical standards and deadlines.- Ensuring clients are made aware of their compliance obligations.- Liaising with their financial planning arm in relation to providing advice to their self-managed superannuation clients.- Liaise with clients and advise on technical matters as they arise.- Build and maintain client relationships over time.**Additional Requirements**- Must hold a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) or similar.- Experience in compliance work for SMSF's, individuals and businesses, including the preparation of income tax returns and financial statements preferred.- Excellent communication skills- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.**Behaviours and Attributes**- Client-focused- Professionally presented.- Mature and articulate communicator- Exceptional interpersonal skills- Committed to team success.- Follow through and adheres to deadlines.- Exceptional attention to detail- Strong commercial acumen- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.- Self-starter- Open to team and individual coaching- Professional and mature approach- Kind natured**Benefits**:- Company events- Flexible schedule- Health insurance- Life insurance- On-site parking- Opportunities for promotion- Work from homeSchedule:- 8 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:- 13th month salaryAbility to commute/relocate:- Angeles City, Pampanga: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)**Education**:- Bachelor's (preferred)**Experience**:- SMSF Accounting: 1 year (preferred)License/Certification:- CMA (preferred)- CPA (preferred)
