Roles and Responsibilities
The role of the SharePoint Consultant is to execute and support the initial transformation from existing Office 365 SharePoint site to a recently developed Office 365 SharePoint site. The consultant is expected to help in the transition to MS Teams with integration to SharePoint in the coming months.
The SharePoint Consultant is tasked to complete document management activities including reviewing and updating of current taxonomy, optimising search centre, setting up document libraries, designing and assigning groups and associated permissions, conducting training and completing documentation, and rebuilding existing workflows.
The other responsibilities of SharePoint Consultant are to prepare credit request workflow, damage claims workflow, financial and accounts workflow, and additional workflows are required. The SharePoint Consultant is expected to work on the migration data that isn’t accessed nor changed beyond 6 months, review inventory, identify roll out strategy, run tests and reviews, and perform migration activities.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of any Bachelor's degree
SharePoint certification
A Successful Candidate must have
Expert knowledge in migration and transition of old to the new document library and archiving practices
Expert knowledge in Microsoft Flows - complex documentation approval flows
Expert level advice in workshops on SharePoint library best practice in mid-large organisations
SharePoint report expertise in approval processes
Advanced Documentation skills
Effective English communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with the team and the organisation
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines while maintaining a high quality of work
Ability to solve and manage problems
