This is not your average UX role, and we're not looking for the average UX designer. We want someone that will partner with our clients to design experiences that are not only visually appealing but have the human touch. We're looking for a strategic thinker. Someone with commercial savvy.
About You:
An expert in the end-to-end UX Design process including research, design and prototyping and validation
Experience designing digital/technology products from the ground up e.g. able to work with stakeholders through conceptualising, shaping and delivering the end product/service.
Possess a product mindset and are able to work with stakeholders through discussions around the value proposition of a product/service as well as the user experience.
An approach centred on human-centred design methodologies and integrating research into agile workflows
Familiar with a range of design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, XD, etc
Comfortable attending and delivering internal presentations. If you can run a design sprint, that's a bonus.
Experience in a variety of research methods including contextual enquiry, interviews, diary studies, usability testing etc.

About the job
We are based in Australia
We have some developers in India so you will need to be needed ad-hoc to talk to them in the latter part of the day (possible evening too but not regularly)
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years experience in designing user experience for web platforms and native mobile products.
Proven experience in translating user research and usability findings into iterative product solutions.
Strong understanding of UX research methodologies but also translate these findings into lo fi sketches, designs, and prototypes.
Excellent working knowledge of tools like Sketch, XD and Zeplin, Invision etc
An extraordinary portfolio that demonstrates mobile experience, excellent working knowledge of iOS and Android design guidelines.
Ability to work in an agile environment, part of a multidisciplinary team in multiple timezones. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Comfortable and confident in managing stakeholders expectations.
Passion for learning and innovation, balanced with business needs and customer expectations.
Experience with the end-to-end design life cycle (concept to market roll out).
