A multinational architectural, engineering and planning firm in Makati City is currently on expansion and seeking for a Sr Sanitary Designer (permanent, hybrid set-up) Work Schedule: Full time Monday-Friday usual dayshift
Summary
The role of the Senior Civil/Sanitary Engineer is to oversee the completion of construction projects and ensure structures in the projects are durable and safe.
Position Responsibilities:
? Design site development plans
? Develop systems to dispose of waste materials safely
? Review the waste handling and removal operations of businesses to ensure compliance with regulations
? Calculate the costs of waste management systems
? Design waste handling or disposing mechanisms, such as incinerators, garbage plants and sanitary fills.
? Perform routine checks of facilities to ensure cleanliness
? Arrange emergency plans for natural disasters on how to manage waste in these events
? Proposing project and program budgets
? Supervising Junior Civil Engineers
? Checking their team's work for technical accuracy
? Ensuring the validity of methods used by the team
? Coordinating work with other managers and staff
Requirements and skills
? At least 10 years of experience as a Civil/Sanitary Engineer or similar field
? Excellent knowledge of construction methods and regulations
? Hands-on experience with Civil 3D, EPANET, AutoCAD, Revit MEP
? Data-driven mindset with excellent mathematical skills
? Good communication ability (both written and verbal)
? Attention to detail
? Degree in Sanitary and Civil Engineering; a Master's degree is a plus
? Member of PICE and other professional associations of Civil/Sanitary
