The Senior Professional, Tax role reporting to the Corp Tax, Senior Manager (and above, where applicable), will be a key member of the worldwide tax accounting function by reviewing countries' tax accounting calculations, including current and deferred tax computations, return to provision, and maintenance of support for uncertain tax matters. This position will also assist in training and oversight of users on tax provision reporting while continuing to help reporting manager refine tax technology to align with Tax Accounting matters, thus enhancing users' experience and increase efficiency within the Tax Operations group.
In performing these functions, the senior professional will also indirectly oversee the work performed by personnel in other department groups in the US, Europe, META, Asia, and Latin America, who will assist in the preparation of the tax provisions for their respective jurisdictions.
Responsibilities, Supporting Actions & End-Results Major Responsibility: Review Tax Accounting and Return To Provision calculations prepared by countries by analyzing tax adjustments, questioning tax treatments and advising tax accounting entries timely and accurately. 
Supporting Actions: Use of Dataflow and Onesource Tax Provision to prepare assigned entities' tax calculations during quarter-end and year-end reporting respectively. Review and finalize Return to Provision calculations using Dataflow during interim periods, increase in-country preparers knowledge of Tax Accounting and Ingram's Tax Provision process and technology through training. Raise any potential exposures or opportunities to reporting manager. 
End Results: The Senior Professional, Tax role is key in reviewing and finalizing Tax Accounting calculations for countries assigned through providing in-country preparers training, reviewing tax accounting calculations and proposing tax entries by utilizing Dataflow templates and Onesource Tax Provision system. This position will certify that Dataflow packages of assigned OneStream units are prepared correctly, and tax entries booked accordingly, ensuring that the Book Tax Expense and Tax Balance Sheet Accounts rolls.
Major Responsibility:  Provide any other ad-hoc duties during tax reporting period for consolidation purposes. 
Supporting Actions:  Use of import templates to extract tax data from OneStream and import into Dataflow during reporting period, also, provides real-time support to non-OneStream users by helping them to refresh dataflow templates in order to retrieve the latest OneStream data. Align all tax reports with OneStream metadata (e.g. new entities, new account codes, etc) as and when required. 
End Results:  The Senior Professional, Tax role assist in ensuring that non-OneStream users receive the support required in order to complete their tax packages within the stipulated deadline. This position will also be required to ensure that all tax reports are aligned with updated OneStream metadata information.
Decision Making Authority Level Decisions free to make: Follow recommended procedures on how to review, train, and prepare tax entries for tax provision calculations assigned. 
Propose enhancements and other modifications upon consultation with reporting manager to make historical tax processes more efficient utilizing the power of OneStream and information available through new Dataflow and Onesource Tax Provision.
Explain the decisions that depend on position's advice: In country preparers will rely on training by the senior professional, review and proposed entries to ensure Tax Accounting is correct. 
Recommend system configuration and tax process redesign but will rely on reporting manager's advice.
Scope/Dimensions In-charge of Tax Accounting for assigned countries, ensuring that tax provisions are correctly booked, and any issues identified. 
Tasked with working to make Tax Department processes more efficient leveraging OneStream and Onesource Tax Provision.
Job Qualifications and Educational Requirement Possess tax accounting reporting and process knowledge including FAS109 (ASC 740), FIN18 and FIN48. 
Experience with instituting new tax provision processes, tools and templates in a large international environment. 
Strong communication (written and oral), tax technology and systems, and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively with other tax professionals. 
Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills. 
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Masters Degree in Taxation preferred. 3 to 5 years tax experience in Big 4 accounting firm and/or equivalent experience in tax department of a large multi-national corporation. 
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), OneStream, Onesource Workflow Manager, Onesource Dataflow Template and Onesource Tax Provision software.
