The Senior Product Designer is responsible for the design of digital experiences for platforms and other initiatives.
You will work together with Product team while collaborating with other business units to design innovative solutions to business challenges. You have an innate sensitivity to good design, understand what makes a good design, and show it through your process and outcomes. You must possess an impeccable ability to design great user interactions and experiences. As the go-to person for digital design, you will be responsible for the design of CADS’ portfolio of platforms, digital touchpoints, and brand experiences.
Responsibilities
1. User Research and Synthesis
- Support, or possibly lead, exploratory research and testing through quantitative and qualitative approaches, utilizing approaches such as interviews, observation, experimentation, A/B testing, etc.
- Synthesize data and other input into visual representation that provides clarity of the context and the future directions.
2. Digital Product Design
- Lead and own the user experience, user interaction and visual design of digital platforms across the entire platform lifecycle and multiple launches.
- Develop ideas, concept design, wireframes and information architecture.
- Rapidly produce multiple concept designs and prototypes; knowing when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail, and when to make low-fi sketches and prototypes.
- Animate graphics, user interactions and touchpoint transitions.
- Develop and maintain design system and stylescape, that will be applied across business units, initiatives, and platforms.
- Learn and apply the latest design best practices aligned with CADS business, innovation, and brand strategy.
- Collaborate with teams in cross-functional units to gather data and input, align design strategy and functionalities in order to execute your design vision.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years working in a similar position. Experience in the areas of SaaS, Data Analytics & AI are favourable, but not required. However, applicants below minimum years required will be considered if their portfolio have shown design process and execution maturity.
- An outstanding portfolio, showcasing the design process behind pixel-perfect outcome. Being able to design aesthetically-pleasing artefacts as tangible outcomes is fundamental. However what matters most is the thought and process behind the pretty pixels.
- Great visual designer with high sensitivity of what great design is, with a strong foundation in digital platforms and passion in your craft.
- Strong knowledge and affinity in design and prototyping tools (Sketch, Figma, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, InVision, etc)
- Able to work in a highly iterative user-centered design process without being micro-managed.
- Ability to move fast, get things done, and most importantly be able to adapt to change in all forms.
