We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher educator to join our team. The role involves working across our primary programmes, undergraduate and postgraduate, as well as contributing to scholarly activity and the development of our highly regarded ITE Partnership. You will work closely with school and setting partners and you will build relationships with partners that lead to shared engagement in ITE, CPD and scholarship.
We are seeking an adaptive and positive classroom practitioner with current successful experience of mentoring ITE trainees. It would be beneficial to have some expertise in any of the following areas:
Science, Special Educational Needs, Modern Foreign Languages, History, Physical Education.
Building upon an outstanding institutional heritage in teacher training, our initial teacher education is currently undergoing an exciting phase of diversification and growth. ITE provision was judged by Ofsted as ‘Good’ in our latest inspection (published January 2016), which highlighted a “vision of excellence” and “training of the highest quality”. We also achieved a 4* rating in Education in the 2014 REF, a TEF Gold rating in 2017, and we consistently secure sector leading employability and student satisfaction scores.
Our academics are engaging in educational research and consultancy around the world, and we offer a friendly and supportive learning community on our attractive campus in historic Lincoln.
