Senior It Auditor

Principal Responsibilities:
For assigned audit projects, coordinate the project risk assessment and develop appropriate audit objectives, audit scope and testing methodologies for the IT Manager’s approval
Ensure assigned IT audits are completed timely and in compliance with established quality assurance guidelines. Facilitate effective audit kickoff and closing meetings
Once process or control deficiencies or unmitigated risks are identified, develop practical, effective, corrective action recommendations
Evaluate management’s intended corrective actions to assure effective risk mitigation
Complete the draft audit report and submit to the IT audit manager for approval
Supervise IT audit team members in a manner that provides beneficial guidance and direction
Facilitate on-the-job training and development of IT audit team members
Perform other related duties and special assignments as directed

Preferred Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT (Computer Science, Management Information Systems) is required; an advanced degree is desirable
At least one professional certification is required: CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor); CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional). Agile methodologies, Project Management is desirable.
3-5 years IT Audit experience, or 4-6 years operational experience. Auditing experience is preferred, however business/operations experience may be deemed adequate
IT audit experience in public accounting and/or a manufacturing / consumer products environment
Experience auditing in a diverse, decentralized IT environment
Experience on Data Analytics using ACL software is desired
