As a Sr. Finance Associate specializing in Budget, Financial Analysis, and Forecasting, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial operations of our company. Working closely with the management team, you will be responsible for managing budgetary processes, conducting financial analysis, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain comprehensive budgets for various departments and projects within the company.Collaborate with department heads to ensure alignment of budgets with organizational goals and objectives.Monitor budget performance and variance analysis, providing recommendations for corrective actions as needed.Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate budget status and financial performance to management.Conduct detailed financial analysis to support decision-making processes, including profitability analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and financial modeling.Analyze financial data and trends to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for cost optimization.Assist in the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and projections to support strategic planning and business development initiatives.Assist in the development and maintenance of financial forecasting models to predict future financial performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and assumptions for accurate forecasting.Monitor actual financial performance against forecasts, identifying deviations and adjusting forecasts accordingly.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial standards in all budgeting and forecasting activities.Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal stakeholders, auditors, and regulatory agencies as required.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.Previous experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and forecasting, preferably in the wastewater management or environmental services industry.Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis tools, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
