Senior Bookkeeper

SENIOR BOOKKEEPER- JOB DESCRIPTION The Senior Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining the financial records of the Club by accurately recording the day to day financial transactions of the Club.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of Financial Reports.2. Records financial transactions in the books of accounts.3. Prepares Journal Vouchers for transactions that cannot be recorded directly in the General Ledger and other month end adjustments.4. Prepares and checks bank reconciliation statements and makes necessary adjustments after securing approval from the Finance Manager.5. Reconciles accounts receivable balance with General Ledger.6. Prepares schedule of cash advances and pertinent accounts.7. Sets-up and updates Property, Plant & Equipment Subsidiary Ledger and its lapsing schedule.8. Prepares monthly trial balance with supporting schedules.9. Prepares required report to Securities and Exchange Commission.10. Prepares Quarterly Income Tax Report to Bureau of Internal Revenue.Performs such other related functions as may be assigned by the Finance Manager from time to CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:Excellent candidates must be a graduate of Accounting or Financial Management Course. With at least three (3) years of experience in a related field.
