Primary Position Objectives The role of the Senior Architect is to oversee the overall design and project management of assigned Junior Architects under his team. He/she monitors the progress of the process, while also contributing in the leg work of the design. The Senior Architect develops, organizes, and reviews plans, ensuring that a project meets all safety and environmental standards ensuring the integration of the Palafox brand on environmental sustainability.
Duties and responsibilities: Manage a team of Project Architects Participation in the design process Prepare reports and presentations for client meetings Review architectural drawings for national, and local code compliance and according to terms and conditions of contract Coordination of the project team's work Monitor the progress of each assigned project Manage correspondence with clients, vendors, consultants, etc. Responsible for project schedule and budget Build and maintain client relations Preferred Skills and Qualifications: At least 8-10 years of experience as a licensed Architect, Masters is a plus and/or Environmental Planner Good standing in relevant professional associations Experience in Architecture and/or Urban design planning and development Strong negotiation skills for internal and external purposes.
