Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Payable Team Lead to lead our dynamic team. The candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships. The Senior AP Team Lead will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our accounts payable processes, ultimately contributing to the success of our outsourcing services.
Key Responsibilities: • Leads and supervises the accounts payable team in handling client accounts to create a collaborative and productive work environment
• Establishes performance goals for the accounts payable team, providing regular feedback to enhance individual and team performance to ensure alignment with client expectations
• Proactively seek improvements in line with the strategy and objectives with the outsource provider and relevant finance teams with respect of system changes and enhancements ensuring changes to both process and system are adequately documented, trained, and communicated
• Ensures outsourced support is provided to businesses in line with agreed service levels any checklists are reviewed and actioned on time and that queries are logged, prioritized, and resolved or escalated promptly, with any priority one issues being escalated within Finance and/or the outsourcing provide
• Coaches and supports the accounts payable team, ensuring efficient workflow and strict adherence to company policies
• Prepares and reviews reports for clients to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial information
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients to serve as a key point of contact for all accounts payable matters
• Addresses client inquiries and requests from clients promptly and professionally, maintaining
high levels of client satisfaction
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination
• Oversees vendor relationships related to the US to ensure timely payments and resolution of issues
• Leverages relevant accounting software and technology to streamline processes and enhance accuracy in client transactions
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, implement and maintain effective internal controls
• Ensures that processes are documented and up to date.
• Handles critical clients.
• Acts as an escalation point on client issues and is expected to perform root cause analysis.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience in accounts payable management, preferably within a business outsourcing environment
• Has an experience in end-to-end Accounts Payable process
• Proven strong team leadership experience with the ability to motivate and maximize team member performance
• In-depth knowledge of accounts payable processes, procedures, and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive client relationships
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and timeliness
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to identify and manage new project initiatives
• Proficient in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
• Willing to work onsite and during US working hours
• Willing to work in Bonifacio Global City Taguig
