Senior Accountant

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of month-end journals
• Preparation of tax calculations (GST, PAYG, annual income tax calculations)
• Review and consolidation of commentary from various sources
• Timely and accurate record keeping of the general ledger system
• Assistance in preparation of monthly management accounts
• Maintenance of actual figures in fund cash flow and forecast model
• Preparation and monitoring of fund expense budget
• Maintenance of the treasury summary including calculation and recording of interest accruals and prepayments and recording MTM on derivatives
• Preparation of deliverables for financial reporting as required
• Support the monthly, half-yearly and annual reporting processes
• Liaising with multiple stakeholders across business units

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Accountancy or any Business related course,Certified Public Accountant (CA) or Chartered Accountant (CA)is required
• At least 3 years of work experience asSenior Fund Accountantis required for this role
• Candidates with background inReal Estate Property or Funds Managementis an advantage
• Experience working in theBig Four Firmsis highly preferable
• Experience in amultinational companyis an advantage
• Experience inAutomated Systemis an nice to have but not a prerequisite
• Working knowledge inOneSource Accounts Productionis a plus
• Must have strong English communication skills
• Proactive with good interpersonal skills and a team player
• Must be willing to work inBonifacio Global City, Taguig City, in an early morning shift
