About The Role We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team. The Sales Development Representative will play a crucial role in generating sales appointments and expanding our client base. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Key Accountabilities: Set sales appointments from contact information provided through TERRA's CRM tool. Generate new prospects from a variety of other sources: job boards, referrals, local news, etc. Goal of 80% show rate on appointments generated; Minimum of 65% show rate Assist with focus areas, such as a new branch opening, as directed by the EVP of Sales, Director of Strategic Sales and Manager of Corporate Sales Maintain operational and sales integrity during the appointment setting process Generation of Sales Appointments for Branches: Allocate 100% of time to identify, source, and qualify prospects suitable for the company's profile. Contact qualified prospects to schedule sales appointments for the company. Document all client information using TERRA's CRM tool and upload into TERRA's operational system. Send email confirmations to prospective clients and Branch Managers regarding appointment details. Ensure 80% of scheduled sales appointments occur. Email Branch Managers with further appointment details. Track and complete a weekly sales metrics report. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in sales or business development roles, preferably in the staffing industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Demonstrated decision-making ability and problem-solving skills when faced with challenging situations. Key Attributes: Takes ownership in identifying goals and creating plans to achieve results. Prioritizes time to take advantage of value-added activities. Exhibits constructive conflict resolution skills that strengthen relationships. Maintains healthy relationships with coworkers and peers. Maintains positive energy even when faced with obstacles. Proactively plans and creates contingency plans. Handles disagreement while maintaining others' self-respect. Demonstrates effective team-building skills and appreciation for others. Solicits and applies feedback from coworkers and managers for continuous improvement.
