Duties & Responsibilities:• Hiring and training new employees.• Create employee schedules that ensure appropriate staffing, especially during storage guidelines.• Passionate about hospitality, have strong leadership skills, and show attention to details.• Providing excellent customer service, ensuring staff are safe and that all food safety procedures are followed according to regulations.• Recruiting, training and supervising staff.• Agreeing and managing budgets.• Creating staffing rotas.• Planning menus.• Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation.• Promoting and marketing the business.• Overseeing stock levels and ordering supplies.• Handling customer enquiries and complaints.• Taking reservations.• Greeting and advising customers.• preparing and presenting staffing/sales reports.• Keeping statistical and financial records.• Assessing and improving profitability.• Liaising with customers, employees, suppliers, licensing authorities and sales representatives.• Making improvements to the running of the business and developing the restaurant. Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management• Minimum 4 years' experience working in Restaurant or Hotel.• Management experience strongly preferred.• Exceptionally well organized with an aptitude for data.• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.• Solid networking and interpersonal skills.• Able to generate budgets and reports.• Strong presentation skills, able to explain concepts concisely and accurately.• Able to develop strong, cooperative relationships with department heads. • Creative thinking skills and ability to solve problems.• Previous restaurant experience. • Management or supervisory experience.• Customer service skills.• Training in food safety.• Financial literacy. • Inventory control skills.• Knowledge of restaurant management software.• Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment.• Willing to be assigned in El Nido, Palawan.
