We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Character Artist to create the best characters for our games. Senior 2D Character Artist's Responsibilities: Character Art: Design unique and colorful characters. You will have A LOT of creative freedom! Concept Brainstorming: Take into account player feedback, and work with leads and peers to produce exceptional sketches and concepts of unique characters that players will adore Your designs will be sent to the animation team who will breathe life and give personality to the characters  Feedback: Give feedback to your peers in the form of draw-overs, notes, and training material. Learn from peers and welcome constructive feedback to always keep improving on character designs and the pipeline Assist the team in keeping documentation such as our character art bible, art process documents, and best practices up to date Identify and suggest improvements in the art production process by clearly communicating blockers and brainstorming solutions with leads and the art team Senior 2D Character Artist's Requirements: Adobe Photoshop Expert level in Adobe Photoshop Strong traditional drawing skills, composition, light, color theory, and draftsmanship Expert at creating unique cartoony character concepts and strong figure silhouettes Expert at establishing a beautiful color palette The portfolio displays senior-level drawing, color, and draftsmanship in character design Communication, Collaboration, and Teamwork Can work on their own but also enjoy collaborating with their peers Be able to enjoy giving and taking constructive feedback from the team in the spirit of making the best game in the world and helping everyone improve. Deliver high-quality assets consistently and independently. Keeping an eye out for improvements in the art style to enhance assets. Communicate clearly with leads and peer ideas or issues that arise. Take on special art requests outside of the production pipeline as they come. Create documentation and onboarding materials for new processes and pipelines. Onboard team members to the new processes. May be called upon as an expert during the hiring process to review portfolios and assess artist skills  May be called upon to lead specific training initiatives Be an ambassador of the character team on the project Organization and planning Responsible for delivery schedules for yourself and team members you give feedback to Language Proficiency: Proficient in both oral and written English language.
