Responsible for the imaging equipment such as the X-Ray and Ultrasound machine· Prepare patients for radiologic procedures· Escort patients to dressing and x-ray rooms, provide verbal and/or written instructions and assist patients in positioning body parts to be radiographed· Operate radiologic equipment and perform diagnostic procedures as requested while following the appropriate process and protocols that ensures patient care and safety· Explain procedures and observe patient's condition and reactions to ensure care, safety and comfort during scan; report abnormal signs to physician· Process imaging procedure automatically· Maintains production and quality of radiographs by following established standards and procedures; developing radiographs; observing radiographic results; making necessary adjustments· Makes sure that radiologic images/videos are accurate before sending them to the Radiologist for reading· Exhibit good work ethics especially with attendance, relationship with co-workers, and patients· Performs all other duties as assigned· Facilitate necessary patient`s information for data-based recording and for result purposes· Properly document the results released and ensure proper archiving· In-charge for X-ray/ultrasound request filing· Responsible for x-ray/ultrasound materials request· Responsible for x-ray/ultrasound materials inventory and monitoring· Reporting of Radiologic technologist staff number of accomplished x-ray/ultrasound examinations and released results· Compile and assure that monthly patient census, released results, and x-ray/ultrasound procedure census are done· Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of radiologic equipment and report to Chief Radiologic Technologist if defects/malfunctions are found· Ensures order and assures to maintain X-ray/Ultrasound section`s cleanliness alwaysObserve the proper protocols in order to ensure patient care and safety
