Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Description:
The Software QA Analyst is responsible for the quality of Propelrr’s developed applications.


His / Her primary focus will be the following:


Working with Systems/Business Analyst and Developers to understand the project specifications Working with QA Manager to understand the test plan for the project Reports to QA Manager. Working with Project Team members to ensure on-time and on-quality completion of the test phase Commitment to delivering an application that meets user expectations is error-free and is user-friendly His / Her main responsibilities will be the following:


Understanding user stories and transforming them into test cases Working with project team members to prepare the required test data for test execution Execution (manual or automated) of test cases and and analysis of results Reporting of found software/application issues and bugs Verify the resolved software/application issues and bugs Usage of Propelrr’s official project & test management tools Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of BS/BA in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

At least 1 year working experience as a QA tester or a similar role

Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards

Working knowledge on test management software, Agile frameworks and regression testing

Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)

Basic knowledge in programming languages, database concepts, and APIs is an advantage
