The position will be in Pasig City, Philippines.
Job Summary
Responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs.
Responsibilities
Leads hands-on testing efforts and initiatives independently on a variety of projects, through the full life cycle
Provides end-to-end solutions to software quality problems
Monitors all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards
Works alongside with multidisciplinary User Experience, Visual Design, Marketing/Content Strategy and Development/Engineering teams to deliver multiple web and content management projects
Reviews requirements, specifications and technical design documents and determines test cases needed
Works with onshore and offshore Web Developers and Web Designers to develop test plans, test cases, executes all testing and manages defect tracking and reporting
Creates detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plan and test cases
Executes exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality
Analyses test cases and determines test cases applicable for automation
Provides proper level of communicating up accomplishments, issues and suggested ways of resolving these issues
Develops and maintains automation test scripts
Performs automation testing activities on complex web architectures
Performs all other functions necessary in the achievement of section’s goals and objectives
Job Qualifications
Graduate of bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
With extensive web testing experience from visual design through HTML templating to final web front-end
Excellent in Test Coverage Reports, Test result summary and Product Quality Reports
Excellent oral and written communication skills both English and Tagalog both in articulating ideas, gathering input and ability to build professional relationships
Extensive cross-device/browser/version web testing and analysis experience
Flexible in process and comfortable working with many client-specific standards
Problem solver and is passionate about new technologies
Desires to work in a client-facing consulting role
