Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement tests of our product suite
Develop automation in existing tools and frameworks, and extend those tools and frameworks as necessary
Execute both white- and black-box testing
Create and execute test plans and test cases based on requirements and user stories revolving around complex data scenarios
Work with the developers in one scrum team and help with Dev tasks as well
·Work closelywith the scrum team to ensure the right level of focused, effective automationcoverage and efficiencies.
·Identify,record, document thoroughly and track bugs
·Performthorough regression testing
·Stayup-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Requirements
·BS/MS degreein Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
·3+ QA Manual/Automation experience
·Strongknowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
·Hands-onexperience with automated testing tools
·Experienceworking in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus
·Experiencewith performance and/or security testing is a plus
·Proficiency with any programming/scripting language (Java orJavascript) is a plus
·Knowledge in UTA, OUAF, CCB/C2MO is a plus
·Experience inwriting unit test cases using Junit is a plus
·Strongunderstanding of relational databases a must
·Aptitude forlearning new technologies; supported by solid problem solving andtroubleshootingResponsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.
As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will design, install and evaluate quality control methods and systems. Design continuing maintenance of product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance and methods.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
