Our mission as a company is to create an environment where our people THRIVE.**ABOUT YOU**:As Purchasing Specialist, you will be assisting Purchasing Manager with maintaining vendor records and documentation and Accounts Payable team with all requests to ensure timely entry of bills. Purchasing Specialist will work closely with vendors to ensure timely delivery of all orders and communicate order confirmation, ship date, and tracking information to customers and internal stakeholders.**Responsibilities**:- Create purchase orders, reviewing relevant documents and discussing with internal stakeholders as needed- Process all PO requests expeditiously and maintains the purchasing queue while managing multiple rush priority requests- Verify that all orders all sent within budget and match the vendor quote to allow for efficient AP processing- Complete data on the sales orders for the Revenue and Billing teams to accurately process invoices- Submit purchase orders to vendors- Review customer and vendor payment terms- Maintain knowledge of how to process orders from different manufacturers and the requirements for each- Track freight cost and adjust orders to ensure customer receives the correct invoice for freight cost with a margin per VOX policies- Process RMA requests and tracks to completion to ensure VOX and end customer receive credit- Identify recurring support and create a record in NetSuite for internal tracking purposes (short term)- Maintain contracts repository, with pertinent contract information for internal and external customers (short term)- Process customer invoices for MAC billing (short term)Qualifications:- 2+ years of Purchasing experience.- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.- Knowledge of supply chain management as it applies to Waterfield Tech process and procedure.- Excellent attention to detail, good analytical skills, good problem-solving skills, must be self-driven.- Excellent oral and written communication and internal and external customer service skills working with all levels of the organization.- Must be able to manage many complex tasks simultaneously.- Use time management techniques to plan and execute complex tasks.- Practice effective listening and communication skills.- Coach team for continued improvement and development.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel.- Quickbooks, Dynamics, or NetSuite experience is preferred.- Experience working with multiple currencies and/or multi-national entities is preferred.
