We are looking for a Purchaser willing to be assign in a Japanese Restaurant at SM Uptown Cagayan De Oro City.Qualified purchasers must be competent in their responsibility for negotiating with suppliers and sellers of the assorted products for restaurant needs. They also need to coordinate the logistics of having them delivered and paid for.Responsibilities:Sourcing Japanese ingredients and suppliers based on price, availability, necessity, quality and logistical expenses.Assessing vendors and their offerings with in-person visits to assess their product quality.Negotiating sale agreements and supply contracts in ways that benefits restaurant.Coordinating with suppliers/ sellers to ensure timely deliveries and oversee the integrity and quality of delivered goods and services.Facilitating payments in coordination with the General Manager approvalManaging purchasing expenses with meticulous record-keepingDirectly reports to the Gen ManagerHand over the purchased products to the Assistant Manager for inventory and rechecking.Develop and maintain a database of suppliers, vendors, and contractorsMaintain appropriate filing systems for all documents, records, and reportsKey Skills:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration Marketing, Management, Accounting or related fieldLogistical qualificationsAnalytical thinking abilityNegotiation and business relations skillsAccounting acumenPrecise verbal and written communication abilitiesStrong industry experience for accurate product/service quality assessmentsGood and harmonious ties with local suppliers and outsource suppliers / sellers.Ability to find a quality products/ ingredient with lower price and can negotiate discounts.
