Project Specialist/Account Executive - Events

•Researches potential clients and builds company databases.•Manages event marketing and promotion through telemarketing, email, fax marketing, and presentations (as needed).•Provides account servicing to clients and prospects.•Develops and maintains client databases.•Prepares proposals, marketing materials, event fact sheets, association letters, sponsorship and solicitation letters, and weekly reports.•Maintains relationships with clients through phone calls, emails, and personal contacts, with a focus on embassies, government agencies, and associations.•Coordinates with confirmed exhibitors regarding their requirements.•Collaborates with the Marketing Department for press releases.•Works with the Creative Department to fulfill their requests.•Visits competitor events and submits reports analyzing their strengths and weaknesses.•Assists with other event team tasks as assigned.•Performs on-site tasks during pre-event, event proper, and post-event phases.•Prepares post-event reports for submission to senior management.•Performs other assigned tasks.
