The Production Manager will lead, directand manage the day-to-day production activities of the company and shall createproduction schedules, oversee production processes and ensure that the requiredmaterials are selected and purchased. Production Manager is also responsiblefor ensuring that equipment is functioning correctly and that health and safetyprotocols are adhered to.
I.SPECIFICDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES n Accomplishes manufacturingstaff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, andappraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees;initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures. n Maintains staff byrecruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personalgrowth opportunities. n Maintains work flow bymonitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observingcontrol points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studyingmethods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures andsystems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process controlpoints; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and betweendepartments. n Completes production plan byscheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishingpriorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems;reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries. n Maintains quality service byestablishing and enforcing organization standards. n Ensures operation ofequipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques. n Provides manufacturinginformation by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing productionperformance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests. n Creates and revises systemsand procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, formsof control, and budgetary and personnel requirements; implementing change. n Maintains safe and clean workenvironment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all controlpoints, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with establishedpolicies and procedures. n Maintains healthy workingrelationship with the rank-and-file teams by listening to their needs andensuring they are heard. n Resolves personnel problemsby analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommendingaction. n Maintains professional andtechnical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professionalpublications; establishing personal networks; bench marking state-of-the-artpractices; participating in professional societies. n Contributes to team effort byaccomplishing related results as needed. II. JOB QUALIFICATIONS n Preferably a Bachelor'sDegree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, BusinessAdministration, or any related field.
n Minimum of five (5) years ofexperience in a Production-related field under managerial level.
n Must be able to multitask andoversee several operations at a time.
n Experiencein developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency withoutcompromising safety or quality.
n Preferably living within the vicinityor amenable to work in Valenzuela or relocate prior to on-boarding.
