Product Owner, Public Safety

This role will focus on implementing our cross-product integration strategy. It is responsible for understanding and documenting software requirements to realize user workflows that flow thru Justice portfolio products (Law Enforcement, Courts, Corrections). You are the bridge between the Product Manager and end-users and your scrum team. The Product Owner writes Epics and Stories that break down user requirements as part of an Agile Scrum Team.**Responsibilities**:- Leverage cross-product integration patterns and AWS cloud architecture to design scalable solutions- Works directly with Product Managers and peer Product Owners to understand user personas and business drivers.- Writes epics and user stories to support user and business needs for feature scope and performs user acceptance testing to ensure build-out of functionality.- May research and analyze projects for new features based on system requirements defined by the Product Manager.- Design requirements and documentation with foresight for the future maintainability and growth of the software.- Work closely with the Product Manager and other stakeholders to manage a groomed backlog of work for the Scrum Team (Development and QA).- Clearly communicates ideas between Product, Development and QA and may interact with non-technical stakeholders.- Embrace learning, be excited by challenges and maintain a growth mindset to gain expertise and grow in the position.**Location**:Manila, Philippines**Travel**:0-5%**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Management Information Science, or Business. Equivalent work experience may substitute for the degree requirements.- Prefer a minimum of 3 years of experience in software or related experience including but not limited to writing user stories and/or documenting client specifications.- Prefer experience working on client-facing software products and solutions.- Ability to understand complex product integration strategies- Knowledge of AWS or similar cloud solutions is beneficial- Experience using Agile SCRUM development processes.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Knowledge and understanding of the full software development lifecycle and associated methodologies helpful.- Keen attention to detail.- Strong planning and organizational skills involving the ability to manage multiple work tasks effectively.- Strong time management skills.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills involving communicating technical and non-technical information in writing and verbally.- Basic knowledge of data transformation or similar solution design patterns between systems- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team across functional groups.- Ability to be effective in a fast-paced environment.INDPSDICEPS
