About the Role
We are looking for a strong Product Owner who will steer the next-phase of growth and development of GoGo Xpress, the all-in-one digital payment and delivery product for casual social sellers, SMEs and large companies in the Philippines.
As Product Owner, you will be at the intersection of tech, marketing, customer service, business development and operations. And you will work directly with some of the most passionate software developers, quality engineers, UI/UX designers and scrum masters in the country.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to advocate for and be the voice of your users. You need to have a good business sense. Plus, be comfortable discussing dependencies, trade-offs and solutions with an Agile development team.
What You’ll Do
Collaborate with internal and external users and stakeholders to define and develop a product vision and roadmap to short- and long-term business goals
Own the product roadmap and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation
Align with all relevant tech, commercial and operations teams to stay on track towards commitments
Review and analyze all available product data to discover opportunities and issues, prioritize requirements, and make business decisions
Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and as the primary contact for queries related to the product.
Represent the product team in front of senior management, stakeholders and users
What You’ll Need
At least 2 years’ experience as Product Owner or similar role in product management, preferably owning a customer-facing digital product
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology preferred
Demonstrable track record using data and user feedback in managing successful products, and optimizing product features
Experience translating business needs into actionable requirements that are small, incremental, value-adding iterations and quick wins
Strong creative problem-solving and sharp analytical skills
Outstanding communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Knowledge of software development and web technologies is a plus
