Procurement Associate (Metallurgical) - Steelasia Manufacturing Corporation

Main Responsibilities:
Select suppliers of sound reputation and with financial responsibility and adequate facilities who can serve the best interest of the company in meeting their commitments

Develop and maintain good relations with suppliers

Render impartial and unbiased judgments essential to the proper conduct of purchase activities

Monitor the delivery position so as to ensure prompt delivery from the vendor

Perform inspection of the goods at the vendor’s factory or loading port whenever necessary

Qualification/s:
Bachelor's/College degree in Metallurgical Engineer

Preferably possess a Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) but NOT required

Preferably with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience (Procurement, Purchasing, Technical Buying) preferably in the steel manufacturing industry

Good verbal and written communication skills

Good negotiation, planning and organizational skills

Willing and able to work in Bonifacio Global City, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City

Willing and able to travel to various plants nationwide if necessary
