Job Description:
Leads in ensuring the Company complies to all government regulations in regards to environment protection and employee
safety.
Operations
Identify and understand all government policies regarding environmental, health, and safety (EHS) guidelines, and ensures the company complies to all these guidelines, and other regulations that the government may require. Coordinate regularly with concerned government agency for updates and changes in their EHS policies. Formulate, layout, and enforce operational procedures to support and comply to all mandated EHS policies. Prepare, organize, and safekeep all documents relevant to EHS regulations and procedures. Work closely with Operations Manager and production team to ensure consistent adherence to EHS requirements. Provide recommendations to resolve production or employee issues that are detrimental to EHS compliance. Provide timely feedback to questions and clarifications on the discrepancies or inconsistencies in policies provided. Coordinate with suppliers for any materials needed to comply to EHS requirements. Whenever necessary, prepare Incident Reports (IR) with complete and accurate information. Collaborate with and educate other departments in regards to EHS. Help promote performance improvement and quality assurance programs throughout the organization. Perform other tasks relevant to company’s needs. Administrative
Whenever necessary, review and endorse employee OT request, leave request and other work-time impacting changes. Review and submit recommendation for manpower loading. Minimum Qualifications:

Graduate of any 4-year course. Familiar, and/or with certification in safety courses, ie BOSH, COSH, etc. Pollution Control Officer (PCO) training a big advantage, but not required. At least 2 years relevant experience, preferably in furniture manufacturing or any related industry. * Must be willing to be assigned at Balintawak, Quezon City.
