Pollution Control Officer

**Responsibilities**:Ensures compliance with the requirements of PD1586, RA6969, RA 8749, RA9003, RA9275 and all applicable environmental requirements and their respective implementing rules and regulation (IRRs).Identifies significant environmental aspects and impacts of the operational activities and recommends mitigating measures in the formulation of the Environmental Management Plan and Contingency Plan.Ensure proper performance, operation and maintenance of all environmental management facilities or systems such as wastewater treatment facility, Air pollution devices, Material Recovery facility (MRF), and Environmental monitoring devices.Ensures that hazardous wastes are properly disposed and that corresponding Certificate of Treatment (COT) are available.Monitors compliances to requirements of the Environmental Compliance Certificate and the submission of the necessary environmental reports and submissions.Initiate and intensify environmental management activities and information awareness campaigns.Acts as liaison officer to EMB, and keep himself abreast with the requirements.*Full JD to be discussedEducation AttainmentGraduate of Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.Should be a licensed engineerPrevious PCO experience and accreditation with DENR or LLDA**Job Types**: Full-time, PermanentSchedule:- 8 hour shift
