Position Summary
Provide Tier 3 support for all Server platforms used within the Company in development, test and live production environments as part of the 24*7 Service Desk team including Liaison with Suppliers & Vendors,
Design Platform environments to maximize the Company’s Server infrastructure
Design Cloud Environments to create a DR solution for the Company’s Server Infrastructure
Maintain on-premise servers and server apps installation, monitoring and maintenance.
Monitor and maintain the Server Platforms to provide optimal performance.
Support Infra technicians, Engineers and Supervisors in all platform related areas required for adhering to SLA’s.
Work with the SaaS & Security team within the Platform unit to ensure performance, availability & security of all Company & client data.
Description of Duties
Designs Server Infrastructure
Manages the installation, maintenance and support of on-premise servers and server apps by Tier 2 Engineers.
Manage the operation of SCCM & SCOM environments
Troubleshoots assigned on-premise server systems and server applications problem in line with SLA’s supporting the Tier 2 engineers
Manage the Server Monitoring to ensure all servers and core services are monitored for out of band exceptions integrated to the Service Desk ticketing engine.
Manage tier 2 engineers
Ensure accuracy of VISIO based network documentation and troubleshooting checklists as required to support IT services.
Job Qualifications
College Degree/Any 4-year Information Technology course
Excelled in Root cause / Logic / Problem Solving
Practical Experience in Years
3-5 years IT hands-on experience , at least one in a BPO environment
3-5 years IT hands-on experience , at least one in a BPO environment and has worked in a Health Care outsourcing company
Specialized Certifications
Must have at least 1 of the following certifications:
MSFT Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA-EA) Windows Server – Enterprise Administrator
MSFT Certified Solutions Engineer (MCSE) Exchange Server
Has attained at least one of the additional following certifications:
MSFT Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA-EA) Windows Server – Enterprise Administrator
MSFT Certified Solutions Engineer (MCSE) Exchange Server
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Desk Analyst
Technical Qualifications
1. Server Administration experience with
Enterprise administration of Active Directory & GPO deployment
Windows Server 2008 & 2012
Server Clustering
HyperV environments
Familiarity and working experience on the following:
Enterprise Administration
Hybrid Cloud / On premise environments
