Planning Engineer

Job Description:
The position is responsible for providing assistance to the Planning Supervisor in generating routine and major maintenance plans and activities, including developing spare parts standards and requirement for preventive as well as corrective maintenance activities of the power plant.


Coordinates with Operations and Maintenance Heads regarding the outage schedule, preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance schedules of the plant Assists and provides inputs in the development of routine and major maintenance plans and budgets for the station Monitors the timely implementation of scheduled work with respect to approved major overhauls of the main plant and balance of plant equipment. Assists in the collation of approved preventive, condition-based and corrective maintenance plans to establish long-term maintenance program for the station. Assists in the collection of data on preventive/corrective maintenance activities to monitor compliance to maintenance procedures. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering; preferably licensed. With Background in Coal-fired Power Plant preferably in Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) technology. With experience in Maintenance Planning
