SummaryTo objectively decode and transform global sales defined requirements into effective production planning action and on-time product delivery**Job Description**:Main Duties- Timely managing of production planning from acceptance of order, creation of load plan, monitoring of WIP and creation of work orders- Creating and supervising production documents- Continuously coordinating the availability of parts in close cooperation with Warehouse and Purchasing department- Ensure an efficient and effective operational forecasting from raw materials needed up to loading of production plan and works- Coordination of finished products shipment from and within various facilities of Varex Imaging- Drawing up and implement planning related parameters- Initiate process improvements and update capacity statement on needed manpower and production resources to prevent overtime, improve delivery time and increase productivity- Decoding of production processes to ERP system and Excel Planning tools- Provide Order Confirmation to Customer Sales Department based production planning and availability of materials- Ascertain that shipments and delivery schedules are properly planned and coordinated to avoid delays and missed shipments- Following the operations strategy according to the long-term company objectives and realize the Planning KPI's/targets- Reaching the goals set out in the company plan and budgetBackground- Graduate of Engineering course preferably in Industrial Engineering discipline or a four-year course in BS Business Management and Administration- A minimum of 5 years related experience from manufacturing set-up as a Planner professional practitioner- Can work with counterpart in the international (Europe, USA, Asia) environment- Knowledge of ERP systems (Visual Enterprise would be an advantage)- Knowledge of production methods and processes**Skills**:- Computer literate: MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)- Knowledge of raw materials, production planning methods- Forecasting skills- Has solid skill and experience in material planning- Excellent command of English languagePersonality- Analytical- Has strong personality- Pro-active and is optimistic- Efficient and Effective- Organized and has high sense of accuracy- Assertive- Result oriented- Customer focused- Team player- Strong personality with high sense of responsibility- Focused on defined work specifications and targetSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATIONSMinimum Required Skills and Knowledge- Ability, competence, and confidence to lead people.- Effective interpersonal skills.- Understanding of operations finance, particular to direct and indirect labor and associated expenses- Knowledge with Lean Mfg, DFT, JIT or similar principlesRequired Certifications and Training- Obtains and completes LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility.Experience Level with Business Tools- Familiarity and working abilities with: Project Planning, charting and presentations- Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.- Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.LEVEL DESCRIPTIONScope- Directs subordinates to complete assignments.Job Complexity- Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors.
