About the roleThey're looking for an outstanding people person to hit the ground running on HR business partnership for their global team As they continue to grow as a global team, your purpose is to improve/ensure organizational compliance with global HR regulations, manage global payroll operations and reporting, support People Business Partnering initiatives, and assist in Employee Relations and Employee Experience efforts. As a key People & Culture team member, you'll contribute to operational activities, programs, and projects that make our client a place where people can do their best work.What you'll doEnsuring adherence to employment laws and regulationsMitigating legal risks by staying updated on compliance standardsActing as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to managers on People/compliance-related issuesFostering positive employee relations and resolve conflicts effectivelyContributing to talent management initiatives to attract and retain top talentEnsuring payroll accuracy and compliance with legal and regulatory requirementsMaintaining confidentiality of payroll information and protect employee privacyAddressing payroll discrepancies and implement corrective actions as needed What you'll needYou are an expert in global HR compliance and payroll operations with exceptional analytical skills. You are adept at navigating complex systems and encouraging the support of your stakeholders to tackle compliance challenges together.In addition, you are someone who:Has a strong background in HR compliance regulations and global payroll management, particularly in complying with Australian legislationNavigates complex HRIS systems and payroll softwareCommunicates compliance policies and payroll procedures effectivelyFocuses on accuracy in payroll processing and compliance documentationIdentifies the root causes of compliance issues and implements corrective actionsStays organized and meets compliance deadlines independentlyCollaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to streamline organizational compliance efficiencyProvides guidance and support to junior team members or leaders in navigating People/compliance issuesSeeks legal guidance when interpreting complex regulations, and has a professional network or access to forums to seek advice on compliance challengesLeverages technical support for troubleshooting or implementing systemsYou must also have:10 years of progressive experience in HR/People & Culture teams, preferably with global exposure to business partnering, payroll, and compliance activitiesWhat we're offering15 days of paid holidays15 days of sick leaveBirthday day leaveNight Differential pay as applicableHMO on Day 1 + 1 free dependentInternet allowanceCoffee allowanceWellness AllowanceRemote work allowanceFun Budget to celebrate eventsWorking with an awesome team :) What matters to our clientThey believe that their culture is one of their most important assets.
