**The Opportunity**Our partner, one of the most progressive and diverse Australian-owned healthcare agencies with over 40 years of experience, is looking for a Payroll Officer!With a primary responsibility of supporting the finance team, the Payroll Officer manages payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate employee payment on designated payroll periods**Key Responsibilities**- Access to Xero bookkeeping to assist with statements, debtors, etc.- Assisting with the database following up on Recruiters' short-falls regarding superannuation fund information and updating Client details and Member details in the front end to carry through for payroll purposes.- Assist with pay run shift processing over weeknights and across the weekend- Access to finance system as necessary but could be in conjunction with current licenses after the working day.- Costing and quoting- Reports to lead and assist in process improvement**Skills, Experience & Qualifications**- Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Accounting etc.- At least 3 years of experience as a Payroll Officer or equivalent- Have a strong understanding of and be able to follow payroll policy and procedures- Must be proficient in XERO and similar systems; preferably has an understanding of payroll legislation in Australia and processes i.e. tax, superannuation- Knowledgeable in MS Office 365 - Excel and Sharepoint- Debtor chasing experience- Effective communication skills in both verbal and written- Pro-active and has that can-do attitude- Exceptional customer focus and willingness to go the extra mile- Distinct quality mindset and attention to detail- Strong organizational and coordination skills**ASW Offers**- We are experts in offshoring partnerships.
