The Payroll Coordinator will process monthly payroll for multiple companies and ensure all tasks are completed with high attention to detail and confidentiality.
Responsibilities: • Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employees' hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information
• Ensures proper processing of payroll/deductions for taxes, benefits, wage garnishments, and other deductions
• Back up the other members of the team as needed
• Ensure data is current and accurate across systems
• Assists accounting with reconciling payroll deposits and benefits invoices
• Issues, or reissues, physical or replacement checks or direct deposits due to payroll errors or final discharge
• Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications: Experience with International payroll.
• Three or more years payroll experience required
• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.), required
• Strong detail orientation and accuracy of work is required
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing across all levels of the organization in a clear and concise manner
• Developed organizational skills and ability to prioritize
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to maintain a consistently positive, cheerful, helpful attitude and demeanor
• Ability to adapt well to changing priorities and situations without a loss of effectiveness
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Proven ability to handle confidential information, personal integrity, excellent judgement and high ethical standards
• Conveys sense of enthusiasm for his/her role and contributions
• Stress tolerance related to time sensitive deadlines
• Experience with UKG is a plus
