Job Responsibilities: Obtain end-to-end understanding of assigned accounts, including surrounding operations impacting the account, areas generating GL entries to the account, system interfaces, and transaction flow of originating and clearing entries Research and resolve simple to moderately complex outstanding reconciling items/breaks Communicate with internal business partners to facilitate resolution of outstanding items Timely identify and escalate problem items, trends, and exceptions to clearing standards on assigned accounts Complete cross-training to provide backup for other reconcilers Participate as needed in project activity and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as assigned Ensure adherence to Corporate Accounting and departmental policies and proceduresRequired Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities: Accounting /bookkeeping experience Analytical skills, strong problem-solving skills and a high level of proficiency Proficient with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), typing and ten-key/calculator Demonstrated ability to take initiative and the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines Good written and oral communication skills and ability to interact with management Team Player Basic understanding of accounting concepts, Excel knowledge and the ability to learn/utilize reconciliation software tools.
