About the Oracle Database Administrator Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle databases.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and tune physical databases and provide guidance on SQL tunings to developers
Perform data migration and database cloning
Ensure all necessary database maintenance and utilities are run to achieve smooth operations of the applications
Perform database backup and recovery where necessary
Deploy automation where applicable for day-to-day operations
Installation, patching, grid control and RMAN admin of Oracle databases
Adhere to the company’s standards and implement security in compliance with the SOX and audit requirements
Perform database changes and code promotions according to the Company’s change management process
Assist application developers with data-related components of the development cycle, particularly logical and physical database design
Take part in database upgrade and platform migration projects under the company’s direction

To succeed in the Oracle Database Administrator job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively within a big team and other professionals in the internal matrix, has excellent communication skills, and a self-starter
Key Requirements:
Over four years of Oracle DBA experience supporting generic Oracle databases
12c upgrade experience (from 11gR4)
Oracle 19c experience is an asset
Experience of Oracle database administration, monitoring database, troubleshooting, capacity planning, Installation, patching, grid control and RMAN admin
Knowledge in Oracle Database (11g & 12c)
Knowledge in Operating System (Unix Based) – Linux and AIX
Knowledge in Oracle backup and recovery processes
Proficient communication and client management/interpersonal skills
Proficient documentation skill
Experience in working and delivery as part of a big team
