Ops Building Access Assistant

Description Minimum qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license Experience operating a personal computer and proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Preferred qualifications Experience in facilities, building access, or maintenance operations in a university setting Knowledge, skills, and abilities Knowledge of inventory control methods. Promote a common purpose consistent with stated University goals and demonstrate a commitment to students and the learning environment. Understand and adhere to written standards and procedures. Demonstrate the ability to respond to supervision, guidance and direction in a positive, receptive manner and in accordance with stated policies. Provide quality customer service by creating a welcoming and supportive environment. Present a professional image in word, action and attire. Ability to interact in a professional manner with a diverse group of staff, faculty, students and the community in a service-oriented environment. Apply effective techniques to create working relationships with others to achieve common goals; successfully communicates and collaborates with others to achieve goals. Demonstrate skills necessary to look at situations and processes critically to make recommendations for improvement. Knowledge of or ability to learn computerized work management systems, AiM database, S2 door access control system, and Keystone database software. Active listening skills with thoughtful questioning. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects within deadlines. Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
