Want to be part of our global growth story - read onAbout the roleThe Operations team sits at the heart of all the action and work tirelessly in the background to ensure that customers' hard-earned money arrive seamlessly to their loved ones, fast. Our goal is to identify and solve key customer pain-points to enhance the customer experience. We support the Customer Service team by communicating with our external partners, deal with escalations and action more complex tasks that aim to solve problems before they become an issue for customers.We are looking to build the Operations team in Cebu and are looking for people who are proactive, detail-focused and practice open communication to tackle problems that impact thousands of customers and recipients daily.As a member of WorldRemit's Payments team you will aim high, embrace challenge and always do what's right; acting with integrity and building trust as you contribute to the company's technical direction and long term decision making.Reporting to the Operations Team Leader, you will:oversee handing the escalations in relation to transactions and many other customer issues. When there's a problem, you're there to solve it. This means:- lots of digging around to understand the problem- tonnes of communication both internally with Customer Service and the Operations teams in Denver and London, as well as with our external partners- spot trends and anticipate if it's a one-off issue or part of a bigger problem- help make our processes betterWhat we're looking for from you...- results driven and who can get things done- proactive and requires little oversight- loves getting into the details but can extract & communicate information effectively- gets a thrill out of solving problems (knowing HOW and WHY things work a certain way)- people person and builds relationships easily- strong ability to prioritise while working in a fast-paced environment
