As an Accountant, you will be responsible for handling financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities Handle daily bookkeeping tasks, including account and bank reconciliations, invoicing, billings, payments, bank uploads, finance logs, and report generation Prepare financial statements and other reports, involving cash flow, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Prepare income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and companies Execute month-end closing activities, involving journals, forecasting, and analysis Oversee entire client ledgers, proactively managing and resolving any discrepancies that may arise Provide comprehensive accounting services across all facets of the client's business Requirements At least a bachelor's degree in accountancy, Finance or any related field Minimum of 2 or 3 years work experience in accounting or audit Familiarity or experience in Australian tax regulations is advantageous, but not required High level of proficiency in using computer software and a fast learning curve of new technologies Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Candidates must live within Metro Manila Willing to work on-site from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday, in Eastwood, Quezon City
