• Expected years of experience (Minimum) 1-3 years relevant business experience Prior experience in operations in a logistics or freight forwarding industry.
• Prior experience in building and maintaining Customer relationships
• Expected Educational Qualifications College Graduate
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Order follow up for clients and sales requests.
• Monitor incoming shipments and for customs release cargo; outgoing shipments and ensure that accurate information are provided to customers immediately.
• Provide customer oriented service at all times relating to specific sales issue.
• Establish good working relationship with customers to ensure repeat business and long term partnership.
• Prepare shipping reports for customers (if required)
• Liaise closely with Account Owners for the account assignments and requirements; if there will be SOP amendments, ensure that these are escalated to the Account Owners.
• Prepare Shipping Instructions (SI) to be submitted to Operations Department with accurate and complete information.
• Ensure to handle the day-to-day shipping activities of the customer where they are deployed.
• Ensure to escalate customer complaints to the Account Owners; closely follow-up for immediate resolution of complaint. Recommend solutions if necessary.
• Monitor the shipping activities of the customer through email, phone or fax.
• Establish good working relationship with the customer in order to ensure repeat and long-term business partnership.
• Prepare shipping reports as required by the customer.
