Quality Assurance Supervisor

Job Description:
Supervises and directs the quality functions and activities in support of company goals and objectives and customers' requirements, training programs, reports to executives. Assist Plant Manager with developing and implementing standardization and control plans to meet internal and customer needs, including yearly and long term plans. Performs daily rounds inspection of entire manufacturing operation. Confers with engineering and manufacturing to resolve problems with product design, specifications, materials, tooling, procedures or processes affecting quality. Communication with and/or visits to customers and suppliers to discuss specific quality problems. Conducts technical investigations to resolve customer complaints and return issues. Oversees the calibration of tools and gauges. Analyzes company quality data, prepare reports and report to managers and executives. Develops corrective/preventative action procedures and works with production to implement and monitor the effectiveness of CAR's. Problem-solving, judgment, analytical and evaluation skills and initiative are required. Develops systems and procedures to ensure the quality of products. Maintains good housekeeping standards in assigned area. Performs other duties as required. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with at least three (3) years experience in the related field. With experience in the manufacturing industry is an advantage Technical proficiency must be able to use computers and generate reports. Ability to analyze data and create and review processes. Willingness to assist other departments to develop solutions and metrics. Willing to work flexible shifts as needed An eye for details. With a strong sense of responsibility and can handle the pressure Preferably with background in ISO 9001:2015 Standard Strong analytical and planning skills; Good communication and presentation skills; Excellent problem-solving skills;
