Occupational Health Nurse (Part-Time)

As a part time clinic nurse, he or she will:

Assess patients who will come in the clinic for treatment.
• Properly triage patients.
• Take each patient’s vital signs and thoroughly interview the patients’ and obtain their chief complaints prior to deciding if treatment can be done in the clinic or send to the hospital.

Mange simple chief complaints with the proper nursing intervention.
• Dispense over the counter medication or prescription medication as necessary.
• Perform immediate first aid care including wound dressing.

Manage emergency cases and perform emergency care interventions.
• Call for an ambulance for the patient’s medical evacuation.
• Endorse patient to referred hospital.

Record, manage and file clinic records, Patient charts, Medicine and supplies inventory

Generate and report Monthly and Annual statistical reports.

Perform Focused-Group discussions on relevant health topics when assigned to do so.

Attend monthly coordination meetings.
