Nail technician job description:
We are looking for a Nail Technician to provide nail care treatments to our customers based on their needs and preferences.
Nail Technician responsibilities include polishing fingernails and toenails, cuticle cleaning and nail trimming and shaping. Extra qualification of our candidates includes: painting designs, applying gel, shellac, acrylic nails, threading and massage.
Our technicians should Ultimately have good social skills, know how to greet customers to help us boost our reputation and help us differentiate ourselves in the market.
Responsibilities:
· Paint fingernails and toenails
· Clean, cut and shape nails
· Cuticle removal
· Remove previously applied polish
· Prepare and clean beauty station in-between appointments
· Sterilize equipment before use
· Inform clients about additional services and offers (e.g. loyalty discounts)
· Give hand and foot massages
· Offer nail care treatment tips (e.g. how to strengthen nails and how to make manicures last longer)
· Apply foot scrubs
Extra responsibilities:
· Shellac and gel
· Acrylic nails
· Threading
· Neck and back massages
· Nail art
Requirements:
· Proven work experience as a Nail Technician, Manicurist or similar role (minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience)
· Understanding of sanitation and sterilization standards
· Experience in customer service
· English speaking
· Diploma in any beautician school
