Modeler (Architect/Engineer)

Department : BIM DepartmentPosition : BIM ModelerJob OverviewThe BIM Modeler is a member of the production team that will create a majority of the drawings for a project. The role will work closely with the BIM Job Captains and BIM Managers to create drawings that are of the highest level of detail and accuracy.Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork under direction of BIM Job Captains and BIM ManagersRevise models based on model reviews and ensure accuracy of modelsAdhere to BIM execution plans and BIM project workflow criteriaProduce accurate construction documents from BIM modelsCreate custom families based on project requirements and specificationsReview and provide solutions/ implement MEPF hierarchy for minor BIM clashes and assist job captain in ensuring formal delivery of reports for major clashes and design issuesAssist Job Captain in implementing use of correct shared coordinates in all projectsAssist Job Captain in monitoring scheduled submissions, task delegations, and actual team progressQualificationsGraduate of BS Architecture or any Engineering CoursePRC license is a plus but not requiredAt least 3 years work experience in BIM with 5 years total work experience using RevitSkilled in use of AutoCAD and Revit, and other BIM softwareKnowledgeable in plan reading of at least 3 AEC disciplines
