PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the GBS Asia is providing a high level of
service to the Minerals Affiliates based on the
Service Level Agreements
Manage the staff operations and administration for
the MIN GBS program housed under GBS Asia.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with GPO and other stakeholders to
develop and implement the GBS transformation plan for Minerals affiliates.
Manages the process for, and participates in, the
recruitment of new GBS staff on behalf of Minerals
Affiliates with operations housed in GBS Asia facilities.
Ensures fluid communications between the affiliates
and GBS team and that all issues and conflicts are resolved in a timely manner
Manage and distribute daily work assignments for
the GBS Minerals team
Regularly reviews the quality of the teams work
(spot audits etc) ensuring relevant work instructions and quality documents
(QP21) are adhered to.
Ensures that Corrective action and Preventative
action (CAPA) investigations are opened as needed and investigated, closed and findings
implemented in a timely manner
Participates in scheduled weekly/monthly
discussions with affiliates to ensure that any issues both immediate and
ongoing are addressed
Organize, manage and participate in staff training
requirements and schedules in coordination with Minerals Affiliates.
Compile, monitor and report KPIs as outlined in the
Service
Level Agreements, focusing on continuous
improvements and coordinating with GPO Minerals to correct performance
deviations as quickly as possible.
Implement
specific operational improvements as identified. These projects will focus on
the improvement of quality, efficiency, accreditation compliance, communication
and technical improvement.
Maintain
a working knowledge of all analytical procedures in the lab sections being
supported by your team.
Ensure the working conditions are provided and
maintained, including office space, computers, desks, etc.
Manage staff attendance and time off requests.
Conduct the annual performance reviews of GBS Minerals
staff, especially access to or entry into the local TalentForce system.
Facilitate and host visitors from MIN Geneva and
Affiliates as needed.
Review and provide any corrections to monthly
expense reports to the Minerals Affiliates using the services of GBS Asia
Ensures all GBS operations are fully
coordinated and compliant with the Head of GBS Asia.
Be compliant to all SGS Code of Integrity, QHSE, HR policies and procedures.

of operational and production pressures.

PROFILE
Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in
Chemistry or a closely related field
Minimum of 5 years work experience
in a high volume administration activity of which 2 years in a supervisor/managerial
position
Proficiency on all MS Office and
LIMS (G6 and/or CCLAS)
Experience in administrative
activities and in professional interactions with back office functions, such as
HR, IT and Finance
Demonstrated potential to manage a
team of over 20 people
Experience in ISO certifications
and/or knowledge of Minerals analysis
