Millwright (Mechanical Maintenance)

**JOB SUMMARY**:Under the supervision of the FOREMAN/PROJECT ENGINEER, the MILLWRIGHT is responsible for the installation, repair/ rehab of equipment and machines.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**Performs installation of equipment (pumps, motors, agitator, machinery, bearings, etc.) based on approved engineering standards/drawings.Reviews approved drawings and ensure that all needed parts are in place prior to equipment installation.Performs lay-outing, alignment of machine base anchor bolts, sole plates, base bolts etc.Performs alignment jobs on all rotating equipment pumps, reducers, drives, motors etc.Maintains good working relationship with superiors, co-workers, and other representatives, and maintain proper coordination and monitoring to ensure proper execution and early completion of work schedule.Prepares equipment checklist before commissioning.Ensures to follow rigging standards by checking load limits, on mobile cranes, overhead cranes, and cable sling against load on equipment being lifted.Ensures that newly installed equipment conforms to the standard installation procedure.Maintains good housekeeping of work areas during and after job completion.Performs other occasional duties as deemed appropriate by the superior.**QUALIFICATIONS**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.**Education and/or Experience**Graduate of **B.S IN INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY (mj.
