We are looking for a Merchandising Assistant to join the sales and retail team. Your Responsibilities Will Include Correspond with vendors/sales representatives on a daily basis Evaluation of production, which includes reviewing and pulling standards for fit, styling details Participating in weekly team meetings with product/design team and sales team Meeting Preparation including pulling and printing selling reports, samples, and patterning/inspiration Communication/following up with Cross-Functional Teams Adhering to due dates set by publishing and product development calendar with a keen focus on style, definition, and mainframe internal systems Distributing Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Reports as requested Prioritizing immediate deliverables and working with manager on priority by day/by week Ideal Profile Skills Required You have at least one year of experience, including solid experience in a similar role within retail. You must possess at least a bachelor's or college degree in any business course. You have computer proficiency with advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot, Vlookups, etc.). You possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to interact and build credibility across all levels of the organization. You are service-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills. You are a strong networker and relationship builder. You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard. You are highly goal-driven and work well in fast-paced environments.
