Job Description Basic Function
Responsible in providing general assistance to the Sr. Project Engineer and /or to the Project Manager/Construction Manager in the absence of the Sr. Project Engineer in the implementation of the project in most economical, safest and above acceptable work standard.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Assist the Project Manager/Construction Manager (in the absence of a Sr. Project Engineer) in preparing the Project Budget for submission/approval of the President and Chairman.
2. Prepares shop drawing for presentation/approval by the owner before the actual implementation.
3. Assist in identifying and recommending manpower, equipment, and tools required for the project.
4. Assist in carrying out the activities/strategies as planned.
5. Assist the supervision and coordination in implementing the projects based on design.
6. Ensure the project technical specifications are implemented as per design.
7. Monitor the attendance of the job site employees/workers.
8. Responsible for conducting periodic reports and preparing progress reports on project implementation for submission to the Project Manager/Construction Manager/GM-Construction.
9. Ensure quality control on project implementation.
10. Coordinate and monitor subcontractors about project implementation/activities.
11. Recommends to the Sr. Project Engineer/Construction Manager/Project Manager an alternative course of action in solving the problem.
12. Responsible for the Safety of the workplace.
13. Supervise and evaluate the work performance of subordinates and recommend to the President through the Construction Manager/Project Manager/GM-Construction for appropriate action.
14. Responsible for the management of all project equipment/tools and materials endorsed to the project.
15. Implementation deviation/changes as per owner's requirement.
16. Recommend additional project costs covering the changes as required.
17. Supervise and review as-built drawings for submission to the owner through the Project Manager/Construction Manager.
18. Assist in the testing and commissioning of installed mechanical systems and equipment.
19. Assist the Sr. Project Manager/Construction Manager with the handover of the completed project to the respective owner/clients.
20. Assist the Sr. Proj. Engr./Const. Manager/Proj. Manager for timely preparation of turn-over documents before hand-over of the project.
Qualification MUST BE A LICENSE MECHANICAL ENGINEER WITH AT LEAST 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN THE SAME FIELD PREFERABLE FROM SUBIC OR NEARBY AREAS TO BE ASSIGNED IN OUR SUBIC PROJECT Note: Due to urgency of the position please send your resume to: Additional Information: Career Level: Supervisory
