Responsibilities
• Carry out designs of Mechanical Building services• Work with and assist other Senior Mechanical & Electrical Engineers• Liaise with clients and other design disciplines• Produce briefs, specifications, design drawings, survey work• Write technical reports and produce detailed calculations• Perform work with little to no supervision, review work of discipline team• Provide technical guidance to drafters/designers and engineers• Establish design criteria in accordance with industry standards• Write scopes of work, estimates time and effort required to perform work• Report to project manager and discipline coordinator/manager
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering• At least 7 years of practical application of mechanical engineering design• Working knowledge of SP3D and AutoCAD• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices and contribute innovative ideas• Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams• Experience as a design engineer in all areas of discipline• Working knowledge of Revit and Navisworks software• 7-10 years of building mechanical design and construction experience• Industrial design experience including high-tech manufacturing, semiconductor facilities, data centers, pharmaceutical facilities, or similar• History of excellent client and contractor interaction and support
